You will need a mushroom hodgepodge with cabbage and a thick vegetable or tomato sauce in which cabbage rolls will be stewed. If there are no household supplies in the household, then preparations from the nearest grocery store are suitable, since in our time there is plenty of this good on the shelves. The dish turns out to be hearty, for one serving of an adult two dumplings are enough, and if you pour plenty of sour cream on them and add a slice of fresh rye bread, then you definitely won’t want to eat before dinner!

I don’t know who and why called them lazy, in my opinion, this variety of cabbage rolls does not deserve the humiliating adjective from the keyword “laziness”. The dish is so simple and tasty that my family doesn’t mind eating it daily, since there are an incredible variety of cooking options - with meat, mushrooms, lean and even fish!

- 500 g of mushroom hodgepodge;
- 500 g chicken or minced meat;
- 350 g of boiled rice;
- 250 g of vegetable or tomato paste;
- 100 ml of water;
- 50 ml of olive oil;
- sugar, salt, pepper, greens.

So, put in a bowl a half liter jar of mushroom hodgepodge with cabbage. It must be remembered that there is usually a lot of salt in canned food, so the rest of the ingredients should be added with care!
Pass the chicken fillet through the meat grinder, add to the bowl. This dish can be prepared with any minced meat, in my opinion, with the chicken, an easier version of the recipe is obtained.
Then add cold boiled rice to the bowl. In order for the duckies to stick well and not scatter, it is better to use sticky varieties of rice.
Thoroughly knead the minced meat, pour salt to taste, and freshly ground black pepper. We remove the bowl for 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
We make a sauce in which the dish will be stewed. Mix thick vegetable paste with cold water, olive oil. Add sugar and salt to taste.
Take a refractory baking dish, pour the sauce into it. With wet hands we make large oval stuffed cabbage from minced meat, put it in a mold with a small distance between them. From the specified amount, 9-12 pieces are obtained, depending on what size of cutlets you consider large.
We heat the oven to a temperature of 185 degrees Celsius. We place the form in the middle of the oven, cook for 30 minutes. If the sauce evaporates during cooking, just add a little boiling water.
To the table, lazy cabbage rolls with mushroom hodgepodge serve hot, sprinkle with fresh herbs, pour sour cream or ketchup. Enjoy your meal!

Grind in a blender the head of onions, garlic cloves, several tomatoes, carrots, small zucchini or eggplant and greens. Add table salt, vegetable oil and sugar, boil over moderate heat for 10-15 minutes, store in the refrigerator, use for making sauces.
