Roast pork in the oven
Frying pork in the oven is a simple recipe that will help you pretty quickly, without the smell of fried oil, oil splashes and other inconveniences that accompany the frying process, to cook a delicious and mouth-watering pork belly in the oven. For some time now I have been cooking pork roast the only way. Well, I'm tired of washing the stove after you fry a small piece of meat, and the smell is not always happy, especially if splashes of oil get into the fire.
Once I spied on professional chefs - around the burners they cover the stove with foil, but for cooking a home dinner for a small family, this is somehow uneconomical. But in the oven, and even with the grill mode, roasting will turn out to be the most delicious - ruddy, golden, juicy and tender.
For a side dish to such meat, be sure to boil the potatoes and stew the carrots with onions, you will get a hearty, tasty and simple lunch.
It is important to choose the right breast for this recipe. You need a brisket with thin layers of fat, very fatty meat with wide strips of fat is better to salt (it will turn out deliciously in a bag in a dry way) or boil in onion husks. Butchers usually sell roast without ribs, but it happens that small cartilages remain, in my opinion, it’s even tastier with them.

Oven-Roasted Pork Ingredients
- 600 g boneless pork belly;
- 1 tsp fennel;
- 1 tsp caraway seeds;
- 2 tsp sweet paprika;
- 2 tsp seasonings for meat;
- 1 tbsp honey;
- 1 tbsp soy sauce;
- salt, vegetable oil.
The method of cooking pork roasting in the oven
Cut the frying into slices about two centimeters thick. This time I got the meat with rib cartilage and skin, and since the boar was young, the skin was edible and soft, and the cartilage was tender.
Now we make the mixture to grate the meat. Pour salt and sweet paprika into a bowl, add cumin, fennel and a little dry seasoning for meat. By the way, the one that is for barbecue, the same will do.
We rub the pieces of pork roasting with spices carefully so that there are no unprocessed pieces left.
We water everything with vegetable oil, you need 2-3 tablespoons of oil.
We spread the meat in a refractory baking dish. We heat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
We cover the form with a leaf of foil, put it in the heated oven for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil and grease the meat with the sauce. I prepare the sauce like this - I heat honey in a bowl in a water bath when it becomes liquid, add thick soy sauce.
Now we turn on the grill mode and brown the pork roast in the oven until golden brown under the grill, this will take 5-6 minutes.
We take the pork roast from the oven, let it “rest” for several minutes at room temperature and serve it with a complex side dish, pickles or vegetable salad. Enjoy your meal!
If there is no grill in your stove, then you should not be upset. Remove the mold from the oven after 25 minutes, remove the foil, turn over the pieces of meat, cover with sauce and cook for another 15 minutes without foil at a temperature of about 180 degrees. Pork roast will turn out no less tasty!
