Chicken pie with vegetables
A classic yeast cake with dough decorations that can be cut with ordinary cookie cutters. If you do not have the shape in the form of an oak leaf, then you can show imagination and cut jewelry with any object with a thin and sharp edge - a glass or a glass, you can even use children's molds for the sandbox. On stripped pieces of dough, make strips or wire rack with a sharp knife, it will be beautiful!
The chicken and vegetable pie will turn out to be very tasty, with a juicy filling, if the products for the filling are stewed until half-cooked so that there remains juice that will stand out during baking and soak oatmeal or bread crumbs.

Chicken and Vegetable Pie Ingredients
For the test:
- 300 g of premium wheat flour;
- 9 g of compressed yeast;
- 150 ml of warm water (30 degrees Celsius);
- 35 g butter;
- 5 g of sugar;
- 4 g of salt;
- 1 raw chicken yolk (for lubrication).

A method of making a pie with chicken and vegetables
Making a yeast-free yeast dough. Dissolve an incomplete spoon of granulated sugar in warm water and add pressed yeast. If you don't have a kitchen scale, then 9 grams of yeast look like a quarter matchbox. Pour flour mixed with salt into a bowl. We make a recess in the very center, into which we pour the dissolved yeast. Add melted butter, knead the dough.
We leave it warm until a small kolobok increases approximately 3 times, which is clearly visible in the photo. This will take about 50 minutes. Then we “blow off” the dough - mix it intensively to remove carbon dioxide, and now you can bake a pie from it.
Cook the filling while the dough is growing. Fry in olive oil in turn: onions and carrots, bell peppers and tomatoes, finely chopped chicken fillet. Season the filling with salt, ground pepper and cilantro.
So that the filling does not fall apart, when we cut the pie into pieces, add instant oatmeal to it, you can replace them with breadcrumbs or breadcrumbs. While the cake is baking, the juices from the filling are absorbed into oatmeal, it will turn out very tasty. In addition, a pie with such a filling is easy to cut into portions.
Putting the pie together. 2 3 dough roll out into a round sheet 1 cm thick, put the dough on a dry baking sheet. In the center we lay out the cooled filling, form a round cake, slightly crush.
Roll out the remaining 1/3 of the dough thinly. Cut the cookie sheet into oak leaflets. Mix raw yolk and one teaspoon of olive oil. Lubricate each leaf with this mixture.
We tighten the filling with dough, in the center we leave a hole for the exit of steam. Grease the cake with yolk and butter, glue the leaves on this mixture in a circle around the cake. We give the product a distance of 25-30 minutes.
Bake at a temperature of 210 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes.
We serve the pie to the table when it cools down a bit, as the dough should rest a bit after the oven.
